no one knows for sure - except, for those of us old enough, only the shadow - let's see the season plays out and let's also see how our young players develop by March.

Nova, Cincy and Marquette ahead of us? I thought they were trying to get drugs out of sports!

Obviously it's hard for a national journalist to figure out a St Johns team with one returning player. That said I think these pubs have it about right. If this team can get in the conversation for the 9th or 10th BE bid to the dance (if the BE gets that many into the dance this year) they will have accomplished a lot. I would put that chance at minute if Pelle doesn't play.

Oh and Greg, based upon your reply I'm assuming those drugs they got out of sports got sent straight to your place if you think anyone should expect STJ to be better than Cincy and Marquette this year. ; ) You should have said G-Town.

Nova, hard to say - they return Wayns, Cheek, Yarou and Sutton and have a few good recruits coming in but they are not too deep this year and Fisher and Stokes will be missed.

Looks suspiously like Norm years prediction-maybe SN still thinks he is our coach. :( :(

No, Sporting News did not confuse the fact we have a new coach. We, however, still have thee same fans.
