Was able to attend The Celebration of Solly's Life today.
Coach Carnesecca, Coach Mullin, Matt, Earl Monroe, Mel Davis, Tarik Turner, Ty Grant, Zendon Hamilton, Gordon Thomas, George Johnson, Brain Mahoney, Ron
Rutledge, Ron Guzas and Joe Oliva attended.
I heard Bobby attended the viewing (prior to the celebration) this morning.
The Maven and Coach Ron Naclerio also attended the celebration.
Mel spoke and gave an excellent speech about Solly and what he meant to him and St. John's
Solly's oldest grandson spoke for Solly's 15 grandchildren. He is an attorney for Madison Square Garden. His responsibilities include The Knick's and St. John's.
