This is a NO BRAINER for SMU.
Having been down here for a long time I can tell you this is the most pub SMU basketball has received since the Mavericks played at Moody Coliseum.
I don't think this is a long term deal at all i think he is coming in to set the program in the right direction and he is working right now to hand pick his succesor.
As far as Doh was concerned he was mainly a "brand name" in the northeast. The guy has done NOTHING here as far as recruiting and putting together a winning program and I was surprised that he lasted as long as he had.
Personally think the guy was overrated and was glad to see the powers that be at SJU come to their senses and walk away from hiring Doh.
I'm just ecstatic that SMU will be in the Big East because now that means I may have a chance to see Johnnies play in person for the first time in a LONG time.
