-- He was ruled out for Sunday initially. But Smith felt good and asked to practice Saturday. From there, he showed he was healthy to play.

Obviously hard to criticize Pitino during a year like this but if going to this Smith thing would be it.
Pitino sounds like the kind of dad that made his son completely fill out a sanitation department application after he brought home a C on a test.
Or the kind of Oklahoma Dad whose son got off to a rocky minor league start and cried that he wasn't good enough, drove to meet his son Mickey and told him to pack his bags.
