I believe the college game begins and revolves around the point guard.
Watching the dribbling to excess, the rushed passes at the end of traps or time clocks,
the lack of penetration....it's all here every game we go without one.
That's not to say you can't have teamwork, the point is to make the team's play actually work..
players need to be in their normal position; get the ball where they can be optimized; and minimize
turnovers from good dribbling and passing .
this half so far is a lesson in point guard value

One of these years obepka is going to slip a screen and one handed tomahawk dunk totally posterizing the defender....I can feel it. With that said these past couple of games this team has learned to shoot free throws. It's a shame D'lo can't hit em today as it seems like everyone else has. Something has just clicked thank God!

Thats what you said in the first half as well. We got over that hump once and we will do it again.

We didn't get over the hump...we get a 1 pt lead then they take it right back and we sink right back into a 5-7 pt deficit. This is one of those games where it feels like they are up by 10 even if it's lower just because they are controlling the game and we can't stop them on offense. You guys need to realize the difference between hating a team or being negative and being realistic. This is exactly the kind of game I was fearing with them leading almost the entire game and us not being able to get over the hump and stay in the lead for a bit.
we are all frustrated because we know how important this is...
unfortunate day for Harrison to be so cold
and for Sampson not to be able to get the ball very often in a "workable" position.
