SJU vs Pitt Game Thread

IMO, you guys are grasping talking about the refs. We continue to beat ourselves with the worst possessions this side of AAU. We have to lead the NCAA in aimless dribbling.

Nope. Even the announcers noticed at least 3 calls that weren't made against Pitt. Travels, grabbing jerseys, etc.

And that's with the announcers being biased in favor of Pitt.
 
The aimless dribble I associate with not having Branch, or some other player who is a natural point, on the floor.
It also takes a lot of Sampson's skills away because we don't have the inside passing off a penetration dribble. he just gets passes when he comes out past the 3 point line to help accept a pass in a merry go round rotation.

in spite of that, we are in this game obviously. i don't think we got killed on the boards at all. We just wasted way too many offensive opportunities.

You don't have to be a point guard to play the team game; I have posted many times, this team has absolutely no chemistry.
 
We can win this. Lets see what Coach Lav is made of. This is a must win game, and doesn't guarantee NCAA but puts us on the bubble. Without win, another year without NCAA tournament. Come on.... Who wants it more...

Agree with Lavin comment. Staff is on the hook here as much as players
 
D'Lo is the master of initiating contact and drawing the foul. Love it!
 
Like intensity level we came out this in 2nd half. Keep it up boys
