Anyone think that maybe the school asked the players to keep quiet on announcing until the school does it through their own PR machine? I know nothing about whether this is a thing, but given the press CRP gets with every big move, it makes sense (at least to me) to maximize the buzz around the players and the program by coordinating the anouncement with a press conference and/or targeted anouncement with Pitino quotes bundled into the messaging? Accordingly, maybe the "mega haul" is still in process--we are just stuck in the staging of the anouncement?

Everyone high on Jackson, and I'd like him but he really needs to develop to play how Pitino wants. I watched almost all UNC games this year.

He's great talent, explosive and can shoot the 3 when wide open, but he did not play any defense close to what we saw this year and he had not shown any mid range...and he gets stripped quite a bit when heading explosives to basket. Similar to Luis especially in 1st year here.

I think Jackson will get better but I don't expect him to be everything we'd hope for early on.

Agree there would be a huge learning curve for him and Sanon on D but upside for both by the time tourney play comes around is huge.
