SJU Portal Targets

Tre Johnson, Longhorn guard, entered the portal . He is young, but a five star, quick, and can score when needed at a distance. Might we get involved?

It also results in idiots like me checking this site an embarrassingly high number of times a day. I would hate to actually see the number of times I check a day to see if some twenty year old chooses Pitino.
 
While I always thought we were a sleeping giant with mom and pop admin. I knew we had potential to be better than we were all those years. I never thought we’d be here where we are right now. Top 10 program and top 10 entering next season, Rick Pitino at helm. Massive NIL budget (I thought NIL would sink us).

At this point I have zero doubt we will have a top 5 portal class and be entering next year as a top 10 team. We’ve all been with this program for so long following and loving the program despite generally
Terrible results. Everybody here deserves this.

Now let’s go land all these monster recruits and win a national championship.

Well said!! I am still amazed that CRP brought a team picked to finish 5th in the BE and ran the table with the most dominant regular season run the program has seen in over 30 years. Can’t wait until this team is fully assembled with the additions of Jackson, Sellers and Mitchell/Lee. We are…ELITE!

Maybe (no sources) they give his a contract a boost for the more media exposure he's about to get? Im new to this forum since the second half of the season. I was a Kentucky fan and then a Louisville fan. Russ became an all American
But Pitino never reigned him in. He was absolutely maddening and amazing at the same time. Imagine watching Rj for three years. One minute you want to strangle him then he’s your favorite player.
