The world of all three exists. Sim is the only one who can plausibly be a backup 1. Rick said he’s training him up for that role.
Sellers, if he buys into it, balances us out with a sniper off the bench and playing heady ball.
Jackson and Sanon are our scorers.
Rick has many different starting lineup combos…Sellers started 35 games last season I don’t think he’s coming here as a senior to come off the bench.

I hadn’t heard this but that’s pretty crafty move. Cheap way for them to help us sell out that Garden all season. Knicks-lite that packs the arena. If Dolan contributing to our N.I.L is true..adding Jackson Sellers Mitchell and either Wright or Lee is doable and makes us a very very dangerous team next yr
Not true. 10 different people started games this year. Brady started 2 of 10 games. Not this year he didn’t. It was pretty much Kadary/Wilcher/Scott/Luis/Zuby.
I don’t see a scenario where Sellers comes here to be a bench player, even an important one.

Also think we would see only Zuby and Lee play 30mpg. Everyone else around 24-28
Amazing! All of the sudden a guys like Ruben and Ayo become SO important next year..My understanding is this will get done baring a last second HUGE offer from elsewhere
Deivon started 16 games. You’re splitting hairs. Sure, Dunlap started 2 games. Vince started 1. Ayo 2. Prey 1. Those aren’t “different lineup combos”. For the majority of the season we went with the same 5 guys in the starting lineup.

You’re right, but we don’t have to pretend that we didn’t get a big time recruit to commit and not start him full time.My original point that we started basically the same five guys the majority of the season is correct. Outside of Deivon nobody else on the roster started more than a game or two. Let’s not pretend like we had a different starting lineup every night. Moving on.
Agree. Would gladly take either but Jackson seems very similar to Sanan. Both averaged about 1 assist last year from the guard position (not good). A pass first point guard who can defend will be a must if we land Jackson. Still a great problem to have as these are both elite talents. Rick said we needed to land a “few” studs. Imagine Wright and JacksonI’d rather have Wright than Jackson.
