SJU Portal Targets

Alabama has pretty deep pockets for basketball so it's more likely that playing time is the main factor in him leaving there. If that's the case I wonder if he sees a path for 25-30 mins per game here.

If we'd be planning to him minutes at the 3 alongside Hopkins and Zuby we'd have similar shooting concerns again.

12-26 from 3 last year and over 60% from the floor overall.

Sounds like a guy who would love to play at MSG. He is in the portal.

Some of his per 40 numbers are just ridiculous. He was behind a loaded front court.

1st on team in rebs per 40 (16)
3rd on team in Point per 40 (18)

That’s why maybe we have to over pay in NIL money to convince a kid to accept backup PG role. The money, chance to play on great team, bright lights of MSG and perhaps with a guy like Malachi Smith a chance to return home. If you really want a good chance to win a NC need to step up big with NIL in this situation, don’t know how long window will be open for such lofty goals. Go for it! Go big or go home! 😊
Throw fake mustache, nose & eye glasses on Khadary and lets run it back

Yeah, that's one 3 pointer made every 3 games. Potential is there for him to be a decent shooter but I don't think he's a guy that's going to make 60 3s next year.

Oats plays that spread offense and almost never played Dioubate and Cliff at the same time. So he's used to using his mismatch advantage when the defense has to respect 4 shooters on the floor.

Not saying he's not a very good player or that I wouldn't want him here. I'd love him here. I just don't know if he would see a path to more the minutes he'd want here.

Not if we have Sim, Lee and Sanon as our other top 6

What is it a beauty contest. 🤣 All that matters is if they go in.

😂

It makes it less likely that he can keep it up. Justin Simon shot 41% from three one year after all.

It helps to look for other indicia of shooting ability to project future stats (form, FT shooting %, pace and style of play, etc.).
