That’s the smart way to look at it for sure. What kind of repair was it? How did the rehab go? Any set backs? Type of sport and wear and tear on the knee. All play a part in expectations.

Sorry, don’t think Richmond works, character wise. (What would Pitino do if he missed 3 games mid season to renegotiate his NIL?) And Hopkins is coming off a very serious injury. There’s no knowing what he’d bring to the team. Not in love with taking guys from Big East teams. Can’t we do better?

Beyond insanity

Seems like it and at first blush especially on the part of the player but then I thought hard to feel sorry for the coaching staff, program and school when you consider WHAT THE HELL PART OF NIL spells paying for living accommodations for a players family members? I know this has gone on forever (see Reggie Bush) but don’t complain when things go sideways.

Do better than two all-conference players? Probably not.

Or do better than taking Big East players? It's a new world out there and we need to keep up with everyone else or get left behind.

Not the Big East I’d be wary of. It’s more like would you sign Klay Thompson to a huge free agent contract off an ACL tear.
Kadary also a bit of a risk based on recent history but trust Pitino to make the call there.

I’ll take Cliff or Williams, don’t really care who. Either would be a great start to our class at center.

I don't think they're equal at all.
On one hand you have a guy who battled against B10 frontcourts for four years.
On the other hand you have a guy who didn't.

What fool would sign a lease before the player signed his letter of intent? Also obviously they aren’t going to let the mother stay in the unit. They lost a couple thousand dollars because they are dumb and didn’t land a recruit. Kid sent an ill-advised text at the end. I’m sure thing like this happen during every recruiting cycle.

The system is encouraging kids to be dishonest punks early on. Wonderful. They will grow up to be like many of their coaches and handlers.
