Trilly confirmed my hunch for the timelines of our targets:

Pryor is closest to a decision. He may get an update today.

Mitchell is just getting started in earnest. "Name is popping up everywhere."

Watkins likely doesn't get seriously started until after combine (May 19th) or after the opt-out deadline (29th).

Ledlum obviously is a huge TBD based on court.

Good if we have decision on Pryor sooner rather than later simply for the sanity of certain folks on this board alone 😄

Arkansas source says they are recruiting both Pryor and Coleman Hawkins heavily. Whoever pops for them first is who they'll take. They don't have one prioritized over the other it seems.
That's not great for us because Hawkins is likely going through all the NBA stuff before making a decision. UNC is probably going to be aggressively in pursuit with him after missing out on other big man targets.

Thanks Dave. Any chance we get in the mix for Hawkins if Pryor pops for Arkansas?

We get Pryor think lineup looks like this:
Zuby
Pryor
Scott
Kadary
Smith

Luis 6th man will obviously play starter mins. Think best role for him as gives him more freedom.
Wicker 3rd guard
USC kid-backup Center
Dunlap
Glover

I'd be pretty surprised if Scott starts over Luis, given that Luis has a year in this system already. But both will play plenty.

Coleman Hawkins is a busy man.

After a season of D1 bball and then portaling, he's going to bring his sax out this summer and lay down some tracks on Blue Note with Dizzy Gillespie and John Coltrane.

You're just begging to be clotheslined by Mullin's Revenge for the Prince Vince omission.

Dave is right but Hawkins is interesting. Cal prefers him, his ppl want him there, he'll get paid there but he wants NBA( heard NBA isn't high on him yet)....
I would think Mitchell long shot...teams left at the alter throwing coin at him... Pryor is the guy for SJ..although i've actually heard Cal really wants them both

Has Pryor been on campus and worked out? If he hasn’t he’s not coming here. He originally played at Boise St which I like.

If Scott starts it will be at the 4. I’ll bet the 100 you get from the next poster guaranteeing a tournament team.

Either sub in Luis at the 3 or wilcher in 3 guard.
Or go smaller with Scott at the 4.
