I'd support getting the best available wing/forward, preferably someone who can shoot it but for me not a deal breaker. For a matchup where we really need to prioritize size, we can always have Vince at C and Zuby at PF. But a lot of times, we can have Scott at the 4 and be fine.

Slim pickings at PF is why I was wondering aloud yesterday whether we'd pivot to grabbing high school size and developing them. Novel concept, I know.

Or we go for a guy who's an underclassmen and try to keep them in the fold.

I haven't heard of anything with these players, so its pure speculation on my part, but some that could make sense in that profile are:

Spencer Mahoney -- redshirted last year at Washington State, visited us last year, local kid and has size/can shoot it.

Seydou Traore -- from Manhattan, played well against Kansas. Not going to watch film unless we're connected, but that crazy Hilltop Hoops blog in February mentioned us with him. He's 6'7" so maybe he can play some 2/3 or 3/4. Again, I haven't seen him play but he's a freshman and played well.

Larry : Dunlap = Marillac : Jenkins
No
I can see why Marillac disliked Jenkins especially the first half of the season, even if he went overboard.

I don’t hate Dunlap. I only hate selfish players GAMES. Though I might have hated Geno.
Just don’t think Dunlap will ever be the knockdown shooter people on here are predicting him to be. And those same posters will be the first to voice displeasure about him missing shots.

As long as this isn't you when Dunlap is our starting 4...

with last ship I’d rather have a PF who can bang down low and play some 5 when we go small vs. a stretch four who can shoot the 3 well.

so you are saying he has to think more dolly parton than anne heche

Just to derail the thread the Heche crash happened just down the street from me and probably less tha a 1/4 mile from where Harrison Ford crashed his plane into the golf course.
