I honestly don’t care about not getting this kid. I think we need a guy with a high floor rather than a high ceiling for this spot.

Just a reminder. Lewis is apparently a pure PG. and he was a 5 year HS player. He might be the mature, cushion we need. I’m still very comfortable with Ian (fingers crossed) and Sim. But I completely understand the concern.
I’m confident that CRP has every angle covered. First things first, we NEED Ian. Stat.

Eh, not concerned w/ missing out on Lee. I dont see a Princeton pg being that great w/ a huge step up in competition.

We can and will do better at the pg position.

There's a reason they viewed him as top choice though. RP is envisioning a perfect roster construction, not a haphazard approach.

It's getting late early for perfect fit.

Lewis could thrive I think but RP seems to hate freshman PGs.

I'm not confident at all in that pairing as floor generals. Neither is a pure PG. I do agree that Lewis could be that rare frosh that Pitino could really work with and become a steady floor general at the point even in his frosh year.

We can;t go into the season just hoping that Sim/Jackson or whomever else isn't a real PG can man that position. That's how really promising season go south quickly and always comes back to bite you in the big moments.
