Not much shocks me about the portal. Dioubate entering kind of shocks me.

And I think he's entering specifically to come here (or UConn  ).

UConn isn't and never will be in NY, no matter how hard they want it to be.

There's no damn excuse not to come to sju anymore, not with the greatest college basketball coach of my life time. Want to develope into an NBA player and doing it with family watching live? Then you come to sju.

Want to be pampered, loved, and all that bs?
Then go to the blue bloods.

I think Davian Lee is the clincher. Get him and we are top 5. NBA draft has him a 2nd rounder, ahead of Walter Clayton. Went to a G-league camp and wowed them. Best lead guard in the portal. Now if we can only close the deal.

Shouldn't shock you. Played 16 minutes per and wants more minutes. Blue color lunch pail guy. Won 13 hard hat awards more than 5 more than the next player at Bama, given to player who displays the most toughness, grit and hustle after every game. Good rebounder, can hit the occasional 3, hustles his butt off, very tough player. He and Zub would own offensive glass. Averaged 8 and 6 in 16 minutes per game. Would be just about perfect replacement for Scott and honestly comparing the 2 with MD only having completed his sophomore year and Scott having completed senior year including benefit of one of those years being coaches by RP would have to give the edge to MD as the better player.

1.9 offensive rebounds in 16 minutes is absurd. That ability shows on tape too. Would love this kid and he’d be a great complement to Hopkins.

White Chocolate loves toughness

Hypothetically, would people be ok with a “lesser” point guard, say Malachi Smith in favor of bringing in someone like Mo D?

I think I would be fine with that scenario - without knowing what possible pg options are

Watkins would probably be Scott's defensive replacement, which is hilariously crazy (in a great way) to imagine.
On FSU website it says he has exhausted his eligibility. He was even quoted saying this season is his last season
