Arkansas apparently out, per TrillyIt sounds as though Hopkins' decision will come down between Cooley's Georgetown and Rick Pitino's St. John's and could happen fairly quickly.
Hopkins will ramp things up this week first with a visit to Georgetown and then a visit to St. John's this weekend, sources told 247Sports.

What am I missing here. Kid had pedestrian numbers but is testing the waters and if that list is accurate has a bunch of blue bloods after him.
6'8", defense and 41% 3pt. 19 y/o.
10 points with great shooting numbers and good defensive stats. Pedestrian?

These were the 2023-2024 stats of a guy coming from an even lower mid-major school who was an integral part of this year's team.
Stats don't always tell why he can or can't be an important piece of the overall puzzle
Quick update between zooms..pls forgive me again Ill answer dm's soon....
1) Hopkins ....Money will(should) be close he wants to understand the plan for him. Cooley focusing on usage and Rick will preach how his system and role will translate into next level. especially if RJ returns. Everything being equal he wants to be a SJ....but not sure how iit ends up. The Ark info was silly....
2)I'll leave Mo out of convo....they are being patient and waiting on 2 specific potential PG to enter...they are doing due diligence and laying groundwork in case either don't
3) The Freeman kid Big McD is getting is good.....really, really good
4) RJ.... this kid is everything that's right. Hes a good student, great with the media, ROC loves him. Hes as polite to the jaintors as he is stars he meets. Root for this young man. I already posted they and his fam want the league but its doubtful hell get the assurance he wants. Money will not be a factor if he comes back to SJ. He is the biggest recruit ...by far.
