Benching of RJ had nothing to do with offense defense substituting.

That’s a matter of opinion . When one player goes into the game and another comes out of the game , isn’t that a substitution ?

Were Prey and Lefty in the game for offense or defense ?

The fact, re Zach, that the chase "...came down to St. John's over USC, Illinois, Kansas State, Georgia, Arkansas, and Kentucky.." and St. John;s prevailed comes down to the Pitiuno factor.

Zach also said the Johnnies may add two more guards, or at least one, and Mitchell still in the mix.
I'll trust Rick to hone this roster into a winning monster, and not panic, yet, anyway.
