SJU considering playing fewer games at MSG

Does anyone know if we are tapping former players for donations, and if so what the average annual donation from former players amounts to?

How about we ask Mullin to return the money he was overpaid? That $13 million could sure be put to good use by the University.

I think there's a pretty simple solution:

In years we are expected to be poor to mediocre:

Only schedule UConn, G'Town, Nova at MSG in conference play. Add 1-2 of ND, Ohio State, Louisville, FSU, Florida, Virginia, etc. 4-5 games max at MSG.

In years we are expected to be good:

Schedule UConn, G'Town, Nova, Xavier, Butler, Creighton plus 1-2 good OOC teams. 7-8 MSG games.

The fans show up when we are winning. By the way, alienating Repole was one of the stupidest things our program could have done. He's the only one willing to pony up a TON of money for us and we don't let him because he wants a seat at the table? If I ran the program I would've done something like the scene in Goodfellas where Henry Hill has a table carried past everyone and placed right in front of the stage at the comedy club during his date. Give him all the influence he wants. We need the money that bad.
