you didn't have a fast runner at bat so looking for the inning ending double play up the middle. I would imagine the corner infielders were playing in. if that ball doesn't take the huge hop at first and gets to the SS quicker than they have a chance to get out of the inning
 
Good job by the guys battling back. Despite the disappointment, Team is the Big East Regular Season and Tournament Champions along making it to a Regional Final. Good year guys.

Although it is now a moot point it is possible (probable) that St. John's didn't put in a bid to host because they knew for whatever reason they would not meet the NCAA specified criteria to do so. The Criteria could have something to do with guaranteed ticket sales or some other thing having to do with infrastructure. We know the Soccer Field next door has held NCAA games so that field must meet whatever criteria they have for Soccer (and there are more fans that attend the soccer games that baseball games at St. John's IMO based on my attendance on occasions to both.

While some of the regional games were sparsely attended, when the host team played I am sure there were bigger crowds. There will be big crowds at the Super Regional best two out of three.

For the Poster who stated "both teams get home games". You seem to be implying that both teams in a Super Regional gets to host a game at their home field. That is incorrect. The best-of-three series is hosted by one school who is the designated "home" team for the first game while the other team is designated the "home team" for the second game. The Home Team for the third game is decided by a coin flip.
 
Missouri State couldn't host as their home field is unavailable to them. Evidently they play their games at a field that is also used by a St. Louis Cardinals' farm team who will be home the weekend of the Super Regionals.
 
Unfortunately Direct TV doesn't have ESPN 3, had to watch ESPNU which scanned all the games throughout the country. Was worth it to see my Johnnies perform. So proud of coach and team. Thanks for an exciting tournament and year.

Don't think any carrier has espn 3. Only access is through the internet.

You have to go through your carrier to get ESPN3 on the Internet. I have to go through Cablevision. When you hit ESPN3 it gives you a list of carriers . You have to pick yours and sign in with your ID

Directv does have espn3 and you also get SEC network and Longhorn network.
