Sixth man?

Dingle is best outside weapon we have, to Soriano's inside.

Last four minutes of the game? Soriano, Jenkins, Dingle, Luis and probably Ledlum
I would like to see Dingle at point with DJ at the 2 spot. Dingle needs to have the ball in his hands to be effective.

6th man - Taylor. Bottom line is Luis is going to force his way into starting line up sooner rather than later.

I just think that Alleyne and Taylor should have about equal time as both bring dimensions to the floor that are important.

Soriano
Dingle
Jenkins
Luis
Ledlum

Taylor
Alleyne

Zuby
Wilcher

Traore
Dulap
Davis/Conway

Ayo

I like this - if we see this transformation we'll be in great shape
Dingle -> Hardy
Jenkins -> Jenkins
Luis -> LJ
Ledlum -> Brownlee
Soriano -> Soriano
Taylor -> DJ
Zuby -> Burrell

Brady -> .... Mullin

I saw the SIXTH MAN title of this thread and figured like the Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs TWELFTH MAN it was going to be about us selling out every game and being impactful like fans at a lot of other schools.

Those older posters remember the Mullin-Berry years when us fans were loud and rowdy and Looie would give us a lot of credit for helping the team win. We had Flag Boy, lap countdowns, and a guy up in the CHEAP SEATS who took his shirt off, swinging it over his head and started loud call and echo chants of WE ARE! St. John's! one side of the Sean versus the other, (those were the days).... real fan support not this manufactured stuff with gimmicks, an emcee and shirt tosses.

WHEN THE OTHER TEAM HAD THE BALL IT WAS CONSTANT DEEEE- FENCE!
FOR THE WHOLE POSSESSION and if the shot clock was winding down it got louder and louder.

Let's Bring the House Down the rest of the year like they do elsewhere. LET'S MAKE THE OPPOSING TEAMS AND FANS FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE PLAYING IN OUR HOUSE.

LET'S BE COACH PITINO'S SIXTH MAN!

Now back to the real theme of this Thread.

Similar to Dwight Hardy...Lavin and Dunlap made Buckets the PG, easiest way to get the ball in his hands.
I'm not sure I see that. I think the comparison between Hardy and Dingle (which has been made before) has always been a bit forced. Hardy had a great handle and was great getting to the basket. Not sure Dingle is at that level as a ballhandler, but I'd love to be wrong about that.

I agree Mike, Hardy was a much better ball handler.

Pitino ran Dingle at times at the point the summer while Jenkins wasn’t practicing on campus. Not sure where all this Dingle pg stuff comes from. He’s going to be better at the 2

He’s got a better handle than Jenkins and he is more of a team player. Jenkins forces everything for everyone.

absolutely disagree about the handle. Impossible to even say that based on minutes so far ( heck you Uconn buddy played some 1 ) but I'm going to agree with source we have who sees them a lot last few months
