We all know peeps are going to transfer. I have zero issues with this. Right now my focus is on hopefully keeping Zuby, Wilcher, RJ and Prey. RJ will likely be the longer shot. I can see Dunlap probably transferring but love the kid and hope he stays just because he fits great on the team. I doubt it’s the role he wants though, which is ok.

He's looking at Luis staying as he's not going 1st round. Zuby coming back and being BE Player of the year. Prey, lefty and Ayo coming off the bench a lot more than this year and Dunlap being healthy and contributing off the pines.
Heavy recruiting for Kim's Hopkins.
Also adding that an unnamed NBA scout told him that Luis is good but will definitely NOT go 1st round and should stay for another year to hone his skills.
Sims ??

To me, Dunlap getting the redshirt makes it seem less likely he'd leave. See what happens this season and then take your two years back on the West Coast if things don't work out here.

I'd bust my ass doing summer session this year and next and then apply to grad programs at home if I'm glued to bench. But maybe my judgement is clouded here.

Wilcher is one I'm way more concerned about. Is he a starter? I don't think he is. Does he stay to be a sixth man as a junior?

I’d like Wilcher back but he shot 40% from the floor and 30% from 3 this season. That doesn’t scream lead guard on a top 10 team to me.

I love Brady and I am sure he will have some big time college performances. I am just not sure he can get there defensively.

I would bet the goal is to land 2 guards better than him. Then let them battle it out in practice. How Sim reacts to that would be the question.
The reality is of Sim stayed with UNC he would be in the portal right now. His target level would be mid major to get playing time.

Cmon… mid major? Dude is a baller… young too. Provided the #5 team in the Nation significant minutes.

Can he be the alpha guard next year and us make a deep run- right now- I’d say no… but there is definitely a role for him…

Mid major…lol

Yes. A support role. He is not an alpha. Wichita St., Dayton etc is his best level if he wants to be a featured player. He's a great kid but his game leaves me wanting more.

Things aren’t normal anymore. Roster continuity is a thing of the past. Relaxed transfer rules and big NIL have changed that forever.

We learned to love this year’s team after a lot of change, and we’ll probably do the same next year. You root for the name on the front these days.
