I enjoyed listening to the Syracuse game....and would continue scheduling Orange,add Uconn,Rutgers...What do the peeps on this blog want? the Lapchick tournament redux?...the only time a good team was scheduled there was by accident(FLGC)...Coaches do this to save their jobs..I dont want St Leos,High Point......You cant run with the big dogs if you become a mutt

No one is saying, we have to schedule John Thompson, Jr's schedule from the late 80's-to-early 90's.

Some of us are saying, we can schedule other teams besides Syracuse. There are quite a few "big dogs" we could schedule in the place of Syracuse.

Frankly, I'd rather play those canines, instead of the one that, for many years, shared a home with us, and tucked their tail and wandered into another home.

One problem playing Syracuse ,as people know, at MSG the fans are more SU and at Syracuse they are all SU fans. That puts us at a disadvantage. Playing all the games at MSG puts us on more equal footing.

I went there once about 25 years ago and it was one of the ugliest venues that I ever watched a basketball game at and that includes places like Columbia's gym and Stonybrook before they did renovations. I stood until St. John's scored, unfortunately that was a long time and the game was a blowout. Not long on my lists of places that I would ever want to go back to.

Then with all the alumni lets get 5 bus loads. 250 SJU fans I`m sure could be heard. They don`t gotta do anything but pay their way, sit on their asses for 7hrs? on the bus both ways, walk alittle to the Carrier Dome and root for their team. But I guess their to lazy to even do that.
But seriously, wouldn`t it be sweet to be up there and watch SJU beat them on their home floor, in front of their fans. I`d be a freaking nut job.
