Shabazz Muhammad

Where is the dislike button when you need it (on the 3 posts prior to mine)? LOL

Haha, know you hate them Dink. We all do, but after all the defections we really need the league to be tough.

Where is GoldenLeaf when you need him? LOL He's on my level when it comes to his hate for 'em.

We do need the conference to be tough. No doubt about it! But, the other conference teams can be tough. LOL

Thats been my gut feeling all along although its tough to pick against UK. I hope he goes there its good for college basketball to have UCLA as a force

Why?

Why do I want him to go there?

Why is it good for college Bball for Ucla to be a force?

UCLA is one of the best programs of all time with a long list of successful players/teams playing in a major market.

Same reason it's good for STJ to be a force. You want teams generating headlines in the major metropolitan centers, not just across fhe farms of America's Heartland.

This is getting ridiculous! LOL We're not even part of Noel's recruitment, but I'll be glad when it's over. Kyle Anderson redux.....

This is like the trade deadline. One coach just mentioned the possibility of a "mystery" team for Nerlens Noel. Tonight needs to hurry up.

Is that "mystery" team happens to be Providence? LOL Yeah, right....

well it's over Shabazz to UCLA and Noel to UK. Howland lands 2 of the best . Not a bad class for a guy who was on the hot seat and going to get "fired"

He could very well have more pressure now, considering the talent he has at his disposal.

Hmmmmmmm....

With Shabazz Muhammad and two other coveted recruits, the Bruins significantly improve their chance to regain prominence. And Coach Ben Howland will face pressure to make it happen.

Actually it's the reverse. Bobre says great players should recognize the benefit from playing in NY because of the media focus. We're saying NY (or LA) will get better media focus if it attracts great players/has great teams. We're saying it's good for the game, he's saying its good for the players.

Actually it's six of one, half a dozen of the other. He's saying the player will benefit from playing in the major media markets. You're saying the game will benefit from the additional exposure of having great players, ergo, great teams. Guess what ? You're both right. It's a symbiotic relationship.

No it's not. Great players can play anywhere and get the coverage and draft status they deserve.
