Read in the San Diego paper this morning that the nation's top rated prep player out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas is expected to announce UCLA as his college choice tomorrow.

Will just make it more fun when we beat them at Pauley next year.

Thats been my gut feeling all along although its tough to pick against UK. I hope he goes there its good for college basketball to have UCLA as a force

not a shock considering the Adidas connection. Congrats crgreen. Two studs coming in.

Hearing a lot of optimism from folks at Georgetown about Noel becoming a Hoya.

Hate grown but would be great for big east. Would also love to see cal's model fall apart. You can't be on getting 5 top 30 players every year

Hearing the same. I also hate 'em, as gman stated. It sounds like his mom has won out. Seemed she was quite impressed with them during their visit on "Selection Sunday."

That 'shoch the world' comment on I think Twitter leads me to believe GU as well. KU/SU isn't shocking.

I heard about that earlier today. I just thought it was shock value to rile up the fans of the respective schools in the race. Quite frankly, picking any of those schools on his list wasn't "shocking the world," as it had to be one of the three.

He'd shock the world, if he were to pick a school not on his list.

He will probably block more of our shots than Patrick Ewing did. Would love to have Opekpa to at least partially offset.

Great analysis.

He'll get his share of blocks (versus us and others) as he's an elite shotblocker. Hopefully, we'll be able to offset him with guys who are adept at putting the ball into the basket.

Some more of Jakarr vs Noel would be fun to watch. I hope he picks Georgetown.

Unfortunately the BE needs a strong Gtown going forward. They can be good, but hopefully not national title good.

St. John's and Georgetown are linked going forward. We need them to be good and they need us to be good...simple as that.

I feel like the ACC should just swoop in now and finish the job. Pick up Nova, G'Town, St. John's, and Uconn. The ACC is already a mix of the Big East, they might as well just add the huge markets of DC, Philly, and New York. Who cares about the impurity of having three non-football members. That would be game, set, match for dominance of the college basketball market.

Don't believe they would want a hybrid league of ftball and non-ftball.

Where is the dislike button when you need it (on the 3 posts prior to mine)? LOL

Haha, know you hate them Dink. We all do, but after all the defections we really need the league to be tough.

I know it's not pure, but what is in college athletics? The Atlantic COASTAL Conference just add freaking Pittsburgh. The ACC is already a hybrid confrence...might as well add the huge markets and eliminate any competition for TV deals.
