Read in the San Diego paper this morning that the nation's top rated prep player out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas is expected to announce UCLA as his college choice tomorrow.
Thats been my gut feeling all along although its tough to pick against UK. I hope he goes there its good for college basketball to have UCLA as a force

Why?
Hearing a lot of optimism from folks at Georgetown about Noel becoming a Hoya.

Hate grown but would be great for big east. Would also love to see cal's model fall apart. You can't be on getting 5 top 30 players every year

That 'shoch the world' comment on I think Twitter leads me to believe GU as well. KU/SU isn't shocking.

I heard about that earlier today. I just thought it was shock value to rile up the fans of the respective schools in the race. Quite frankly, picking any of those schools on his list wasn't "shocking the world," as it had to be one of the three.
He'd shock the world, if he were to pick a school not on his list.

He will probably block more of our shots than Patrick Ewing did. Would love to have Opekpa to at least partially offset.
St. John's and Georgetown are linked going forward. We need them to be good and they need us to be good...simple as that.
I feel like the ACC should just swoop in now and finish the job. Pick up Nova, G'Town, St. John's, and Uconn. The ACC is already a mix of the Big East, they might as well just add the huge markets of DC, Philly, and New York. Who cares about the impurity of having three non-football members. That would be game, set, match for dominance of the college basketball market.
Where is the dislike button when you need it (on the 3 posts prior to mine)? LOL

Don't believe they would want a hybrid league of ftball and non-ftball.
