Selection Sunday

I like this matchup. They really struggle to score. If we shoot well, we will win.

Also, never devalue the idea of having to fly across country into a different time zone!
 
That dweeb Gottlieb is such a St. John's hater. His only comment was "They're going to get killed on the boards by SDSU"
 
I like the SDSU matchup but would have liked it a lot more with Obekpa. The Buff/WV game should be killer. Looking forward to that one. BUT/TX is a tough matchup for a 6 if TX starts to play then ND to follow. They kinda got screwed.
 
SDSU is a good defensive team but not a great offensive team. Keeping them off the boards will be the challenge. If we can play fast, get to the rim and hit some threes, we can beat them.

This would be true if we were playing many Div-II schools.
 
Wow X-men got higher seed than us?? Although if BYU gets there they will beat Xavier... Although I will pull hard for all Big East teams..

Obekpa played 30 minutes and grabbed 8 rebounds against Duke. We're not getting that from JDR, CJ and Amar. We are a no contest against Duke in the tournament.
 
SDSU top rebounder is 6-8. Give me this matchup any day given our situation. Such a damn shame tho, would've loved duke with co

Sad thing is this is a great bracket for us if we were at full strength. Played duke and Gonzaga close. Beat Gtown.

I am ok with it. However, it seems we always find Duke somehow. I realize its been awhile but we also played them this year.

The only good thing is that one of our "wildcards" won't be there the flake out on us right befor or during the game. We know what we have going in. As long as the other wildcard shows up (knock wood), we should be competitive.
 
Clark Kellogg just said that Nova was the easiest of the #1 seeds to beat. So obvious how little respect these guys on ESPN give the BE. And how little they've seen of our games.
