Apologies if this has been asked and answered over the past 37 pages, but is it anticipated that this Priority Points and re-seating process is going to happen every year?

Considering how tedious this has been to compile, probably not. But considering that just about the only tangible thing they can offer donors is better seats, who knows.

The thing is, though, they now have a base to start with for everyone. So theoretically it shouldn’t be hard to just add current year donations to that base. But…the problem is with the unconnected different sources of those donations. That’s not going to be fixed. But, yes, who knows.

There are multiyear pledges that already have been counted towards active points and donations coming from a number of sources with multiplication factors, and the multiple database issue will persist. Throw in that the automated seat selection process likely to be a total shit show. As soon as someone with a reasonably good priority number sees their seats gone, the ticket office will be swamped as the clock ticks. I would imagine there will be multiple STHs in the virtual room at the same time and as you are searching for better seats your current seats can be grabbed I imagine.


Already giving me anxiety, hopefully needlessly.

Granted I have pretty good seats at MSG but my ticket partner is having second thoughts with the big increase in price. We started with 6 seats a looooong time ago, went down to 4 a few years back when things looked not so good and I couldnt give my extras away.

If the plan is to jack up prices by 30% then good luck getting people to move more than a couple of rows back or to a different section--unless it's a better section.

No I like my row. Because MSG was built by idiots and the rows are inconsistent and seats are mis-aligned. Leg room is crucial.

I understand needing a knee replacement if I subject myself to games on campus. But for a billion dollar arena I want a comfortable seat and I have one now finally.
