Season Tickets

Think so?

We shall see.
Yeah, I do. You did mention that you want the *exact same seats* that you now have. The probability of that happening is low, unless your current seats are in a section that has very little demand OR you are picking your seats today.

Just take the example of the guy who posted on X today that he had just selected his seats. He was excited and clearly got a seat upgrade, which means he took someone else’s seat. The person he bumped off will, in turn, bump off someone else, and so on and so on….Like a rock splashing into the pond, the ripples flow outward….

I’m worried about the opposite effect too. People skittish of the price increase so they go down one tier

Correct. I knew someone who picked yesterday and did not retain his seats. Close, but not the same seats. I’m resigned to the fact that I’ll be moving when I pick on Monday.

Since I’m naturally cynical, I wonder if the plan of “no new donors will jump ahead of existing ticket holders” was ironclad…

I've said it from Ed's initial statement.... absolutely 0 chance a New ... non-STH, who is willing to donate 6 figures+ is waiting at the back of the line.... nor should theyU.
Up until now I was trusting when Ed had positively stated that exisitng season ticket holders would not be "jumped over" by ANY new season ticket holders. Seems that is not the case.

He was touted as a man of integrity. Very disappointed.

I see what you mean. You're right. I may not get the exact same seats. I do expect to be in the vicinity. Let's see.

damn retired people. Especially you young ones :)
Yes, it does have some advantages. I was with another retiree and one guy who worked a half day from home.

Company policy was no alcohol consumption on workdays (including at lunch) with the exception being after your workday was done.

So, yes, I blame my miscalculation on the addition of the season ticket prices on a good lunch with alcohol included. What’s the school’s excuse for once again putting out incorrect information?

When I started work in the bond business in the 80s, alcohol-fueled lunches and dinners were standard operating practices. As well as free tickets to games. Until 2008, then we were like normal business people. :)

But to keep it on topic, how do they roll out a major transformation/reseating with so many errors?

"What’s the school’s excuse for once again putting out incorrect information?"
Answer - "We Are.......St.John's" 😞

On the "flip side" I would like to compliment the young people who have answered the phone in the ticket office. I have called a few times to get some clarifications and each time the person was informative, polite and patient. Good job.👍

Maybe the office needs new blood and they should be put in charge. I mean they do know how to turn on a computer.
