Haven't received permission to use his name, but one of our greatest fans (and he isn't a St. John's grad) wrote the check for the new banners.

Had same observations.

Re: Champagne He looked like he has been here a year. Very calm. And as you said, Roberts still looks raw.
Team plays very hard D but points will be hard to come by.
Rutherford very scrappy on defense with nose for steals but offensively challenged.
Caraher definitely looked good and expect will have prominent role
Will be tough - and worse if Dunn is not eligble.

Some former players on hand - Boothe, Glover, Fordham
CMA - this is his team...very involved in all aspects of practice
Not going to be a green light to hoist 3s...chided Earlington at one point for taking a 3 early in shot clock[/quote]

Was wondering why Tariq was in the house. Sat at scorers table and appeared to be observing and taking notes. Could be wrong. Perhaps he came back to finish masters?

In any event, obviously on good terms with the school which is good to see.
