The kid's not getting paid to play, I have no problem with him being gone for as long as he wants. Sucks for us especially with Obekpa out but some things are just more important.
 
We are already deploying a 3 guard offense for much of the game, and that includes times where pointer is one of two forwards on the floor. Sanchez figured to get more minutes with Obekpa hobbled. This is not looking good. We lose size and potentially 10 fouls. GG may play 25-30 minutes at this rate.
 
can a baby travel at 1 day old ? put the kid on the team bus and lets play

I didn't realize his wife and newborn were in Providence. Assumed they would be a little closer to NYC. Congrats to Orlando and his family.

When I saw Sanchez and a baby, I just assumed grandchild.
 
I understand that some posters might be upset that Sanchez won't be available for our huge game tomorrow (especially with Obekpa likely out), but anyone angry at Sanchez over his decision to be with his wife and newborn is ridiculous. This is a young man who just had his first child; much bigger deal than one basketball game. Let him be with his family and we'll get him back Tuesday for Xavier.

Yeh! A few minutes ago some idiot shot his mouth off without knowing the full story and wrote:

Man, this is out of left field! Congrats to Sanchez. But can't they get him to Philly for a couple of hours and shoot him right back??

This is a tough loss regardless of whether Obekpa plays. Sanchez leads the team in rebounds per minute played and is an excellent free throw shooter. Gods Gift is going to have to play at least twenty minutes and can't come close to replacing Sanchez on offense and is a terrible free throw shooter. For those who don't want to see much of Hooper........
