Ahmed and Clark continuing where they left off in the first half. Just great to see especially when we are missing an offensive weapon in LoVett.
 
Looking much better so far this half! But, we lack experience and it shows against lesser teams. And raises huge questions about the tough West Coast trip and the rugged Big East schedule.

Simon, Yakwe also quietly having very nice games. Ali B and Trimble also contributing. Very nice to see.
 
What a play by Owens on the slightly overthrown alley-oop from Simon! Would like to see them run an occasional set to free Owens up for the 10-15 jumper he has shown he can make. When he is engaged a bit offensively, his defense intensity seems to ramp up even more.
 
I am following the game on redstormsports.com and it says Boubakar just scored. Is that correct that he is playing ?
 
Because perhaps we are not as talented as as goof as many members on this boad think we are. Ponds has been absent in his shooting D on the 3 is not much better than last yr What if this was a Big East team or Duke we would be losing by 30 at the 1/2 Again lets not pump the team up until they have done something No excuse to shoot 28 %

Don’t bother responding to this guy. He has done nothing but complain and bash the team/coaches in every win so far. 7-1 with a 40 point win and he’s still not happy.

I’m not crazy about his jump shot. Use his wingspan for inside shots like he had today. Also good to see Clark play more of an inside game. Hopefully Lovett will be back soon.
 
Another great win! At 7-1, we now have more OOC wins than last year (6-7)! I think expectations at this point would've been something like 6-2. At least one loss in Florida and a second disappointing loss as well (to Nebraska, Oregon St, UCF, or a lesser team like today). Last year we had losses to Penn State, LIU Brooklyn, Delaware State, Old Dominion, VCU, Michigan State, and Minnesota. At least 4 of those would've been considered disappointing this year.

Hoping we can finish 10-3 at least. If we are able to split out West, then I'd feel really good.
