@Rutgers, Fri. Nov. 16, 7pm, BTN / 970 WNYM

Rutgers is awful. Maybe Pikell can coach but he sure isn't getting the talent. Rutgers had some good guards last few years the Williams kid and another who's name I don't recall but the talent level has fallen off in what year 3 of Pikell?

Rutgers has been begging to be blown out. This is garbage basketball! Mullin thinks he's coaching the Golden State Warriors.
Agreed 100% Dink. These are kids and they need at least a little structure .
Exactly! Re: the kids need some structure. Anyone who questions folks like us who have issues with this type of ball will see my avatar come to life. Real deal.

Figuroa is the only reason we're even winning. That doesn't have anything to do with coaching. Just simply his ability.
I would like to see them run some plays to get Heron the ball where can just spot up and shoot. But we don’t run any plays. Heron has forgot about by this team in this half.

Why did they match up a BE team picked from 3-5 against worst team in 14 team B10?

The difference is that Figueroa is the only guy crashing the offensive boards. Heron can and should. Ponds playing like a primadonna at Rucker, just some fancy dribbling then chuck a fade-away. He’s soooo talented. He needs to learn what the team needs and get at it. Drive and penetrate. He improved towards end of the half, but his brain needs to be seeking more playmaking and not just opening up a gap for shotmaking.

We are very talented and can smoke these guys. Let’s light them up. No more brain dead stuff and I too wish the coaches ran more cutters to the basket.

Rutgers 2-14 from 3 and 1-8 from the foul line lucky to be down only 11 , I think we will win this one going away in second half.

There might be plenty of things to criticize in the first half but L. J. Figueroa was absolutely flawless. From decision making, to teamwork, to shot selection, to defense, to shooting touch, to athleticism , to intensity and intangibles he was just about perfect. If I am an NBA scout looking at Ponds and Heron I am calling up my team and telling them to put L.J. on their radar. He was simply terrific in every aspect of the game in the first half.

I really thought Figueroa would struggle with this transition. He’s been a god send and has shattered my expectations.

What a steal.

We are an extremely talented team. We will win this game, but I wish I could say I was encouraged by the first half.

Figgy terrific in 1st half. Simon with 8 rebounds and Heron started off great, need to get back to him offensively.

That’s just fan forums in general. Take a look at the Kentucky game thread when they played Duke. Most wanted Cal fired stating he can’t coach and can no longer recruit elite talent.

Get F'n real! We should win this game. I expect to win this game. But this isn't good basketball at all!
