@Rutgers, Fri. Nov. 16, 7pm, BTN / 970 WNYM

SJU 70
Rutgers 65

Game thread page goes 80 pages when Mullin says we didnt need another big man because Trimble's hair being so high during the games it makes him the tallest

How come they can get not one but for big men one being 7 foot . So these recruits are out there, guess they must be a conspiring against us Korea’s bigs feel they can not get better here lol. This is always a hard game

Nip and tuck game & SJU wins a very close one. Have to get it, setting tone for winning on road and getting a championship at tourney in Brooklyn. Heard Linfonte is bringing five stationary bikes.

Anyone who doesn't take Rutgers seriously after last night is watching this team through rose colored glasses.

Good article, thanks for posting. Rutgers will be tough. Looks like they got excellenet guard play Baker and the "other Quinnipiac transfer" Peter Kiss and they also have real size. If we win that one at the RAC, I will feel good about our chances to clean up on the rest of the pre Big East schedule. Really hope Keita is ok as we will need him Friday.

On top of their overall size, they shot above 60% from 3 in their first game. Their fans think they’ll suffer against athletic guards. We need to be driving to the hole almost every play on them this week. Take their slower guards off the dribble, and draw foul. Forget the quick 3’s. And we will get killed if we don’t defend the perimeter.

Concur this will not be easy but we need this win. It will have an effect how others view the program and the team. Hope staff improves on its game plan and set plays etc

I’ll add, Rutgers is also flying high after a big win their first game of the season. I hope we come out strong and let them know they’re not playing Fairley Ridiculous any more...

Ponds just said on Instagram that he got hurt before the game yesterday. Couldn’t ask for a better time to have a week off for him and Keita.

did you see Mullin tonight on the sidelines? With his head in his towel, he looked like a deer lost in head lights.
Good luck on the staff improving.

I may have missed it here, but is there any word on Keita’s Injury? I saw Zach’s tweet that it didn’t appear to be serious, but haven’t seen anything since. Thanks!

I’m not saying he’s John wooden or even just a good coach but credit him for making some adjustments in the second half that got us back in the game and eventually win. Turned up the press and changed up the lineup.

LOL

If we don't make the tourney might have a decent shot at the Tour De France

It should be easy, especially if this is the best SJU roster since the 99 and 2000 teams which is what I was told.

Rut-gers plays Drexel this afternoon (Sunday) at 3 pm on the BTN plus.

Who for Rutgers would start at SJU?

Better yet if you combined the rosters you don't think SJU would have the 5 best players...Heron, Ponds, Simon, Clark and LJ?

As Mike Vaccaro said no more grading on a curve.
