We're gonna do one more before we get to the Zuby predictions. The much adored Ruben Prey and his sophomore season. Its hard to put such pressure on a young player figuring to come off the bench and playing a somewhat limited role, but if he's not ready for 15-20 minutes against BE bigs, our chances as a title contender are in real jeopardy. I like our chances there.

I was a huge fan of Rubens play as a freshmen. He impacted almost every game he was in and rarely was it with points scored. He showed great ability as a defender and I think having a pick and roll PG like Dylan to team with is going to open up a new offensive avenue for him to contribute on that end.

Think Rub is first off the bench….

Leaving that initial thought up there… then I realized we have potentially Sellers/Mitchell coming off as well…

Def in on the Over 15mpg

Tough for me to see Zuby, Bryce, and Mitchell leaving much more than 15 minutes open at the 4/5 on any type of consistent basis.

First poll with all three overs. I think he gets to just over 15mpg because Zuby will need some time on the bench + they can play together + there's already talk of Bryce/Dillon playing some 3 on defense.

I think he hits a 3 a game and one or two put backs a game. Rebounds was ironically the toughest thing to gauge but I just think we're going to bully most teams. Especially in the Big East, minus the top teams.

Over under 25 made threes, you taking the over?

I believe Ruben’s minutes tick up, but am less interested in his offensive output than his rebounding and defending. Imo, he will continue to improve on good effort last year in that regard. I believe we have more than adequate scoring to worry about need for him to take a big jump offensively. Of course he could be more productive on O, but to me it is more critical he continues to progress in rebounding, blocked shots and generating stops. He should be a critical piece of our defense, an area Rick I am sure has his eyes on.

Completely agree. I have him under on points and over on rebounds and over on mpg but that was hard one my guess is between 14-16 mpg. But agree we absolutely need him to be very capable backup to Zuby with some minutes at the 4.
