Rowan Barrett Jr.

The crowd got into as they were watching the two prized recruits go mano a mano. As the shot clock ticked down, Felipe made his drive, a couple more Hoyas collapsed on him, but he kicked it out to an open Barrett for a baseline three. He hit it, essentially icing the game. I was there with Zanman, and if he ever drinks enough coffee to help him get through this, maybe he can add something.

All I remember from those days is the lady who used to knit during the games and all the fights we used to get in with opposing teams' fans.

I only needed 4 cups of coffee before I finished your assessment of Barrett, which by the way was spot on.

Can't wait for your memories in the James Scott thread. I'm pretty sure we think of the same moment when we hear that name. :woohoo:

Are you talking about the woman (knitting) who was retarded. She set in my section, always carrying a Daily News. She was at every game at Alumni Hall. A scout told me she attends all Knick games as well.

Definitely not the same woman. This was a mom with her family at MSG. It was during the Mahoney years and she started off with a small child's bib and it turned into a blanket for her entire family plus the rest of the row by season's end! Ask Kran, we were sometimes more amazed at her skill than that of what we saw on the court. It was something right of Major League.

Now there are 2 known knitters at STJs games?! Says it all!

Couldn't find a better word to use?

A woman has been knitting at BYU games for close to 50 years.

I knew you couldn't have been talking about Alumni Hall because anyone knitting a blanket in that sweathouse would have to be clinically insane

The intense heat should lead to a protest on the concession line.
