I'm heading to the Tar Heel state with my nephew.

Very much looking forward to being with all those that can travel and root on our Johnnies !

Safe travels to one and all !!!!!
 
Nathalie and I flying down late afternoon friday. We are there till we lose :)
 
Flying in Friday morning till Sunday night. Staying in the city about 10 minute walk to arena. Anyone know how safe DT Charlotte is?

Was back and forth on it, but I'm going. Doing a road trip with my brother, cousin and friend. Leaving Thursday afternoon, finding a cheap hotel along the way, getting into Charlotte early Friday, exploring the city, games at night, staying at an area hotel and drive back early Saturday. I'm excited about it even though I don't expect a win.
 
So I'm kind've late to this party because I was so pissed off yesterday, but how much are the flights you guys are finding to Charlotte?

Booked mine yesterday on Jet Blue, about $350 R/T (included the extra legroom and insurance.) Thursday AM to Monday AM.
 
we will be there friday to monday.lots of things to do in charlotte , could you give us more information on pre game reception.
 
Crowne Plaza Charlotte Executive Park is few miles away from the arena.
Reception will be open to the public - for info and registration i would suggest to contact

Can lend you my son if you want Tony. :) Actually he is coming up to Fairfield to watch the game with me at my wife's request to keep me calm.

LOL! The only thing that will keep me calm is if I can score something off of Obekpa before the game. ;)
