Robbins -- Harkless has NBA in sights

Just my two cents, he'll want to go pro after a winning season and an NCAA Tourney berth, not after a 13-16 season or however this season ends. I, unfortunately, see him and D'Angelo both departing after next season, but as another poster already pointed out, this is what happens when you recruit and GET players like this.
Have to take the good (or great) with the bad.

My guess is there will be no serous first round interest this season, at least not in the upper half of the first ournd, where the serious money is..

Here's the thing about next season, and this may influence his thinking. With a likely rotation of 8 or 9 players, Mo's minutes will fall to 30 minutes per game or less, as well as the number o touches, etc. He will actually have to improve to put up the same numbers, because he won't be on the court 36 minutes per game. That being said, some of his stock value will ride on how good the team is. A ride through the BET through the finals, or a trip to the Elite 8 or Final Four, and his stock will soar.

I am thinking the exact opposite. More rest each game + better supporting cast the other teams' defenses have to focus on + a point guard who will feed him the ball + maturity = MONSTER SEASON.

A deep run through March always gets the stock way up and wouldn't hurt either.

I think Moe still gets 35mins a night next season, hard to envision any less than that. Problem is I think he'll see more traps and double teams. That's going to start happening now so it'll be interesting to see if he forces things or not.

These NBA scouts know what the situation is here. Any minor drop in statistics will not matter. As you pointed out, a quality run through the BE Tourney and (hopefully) a nice run in the NCAA Tourney spearheaded by Moe will undoubtedly get him into the lottery.

I hope you guys are right about Harrison. I don't share your optimism. He has two things that NBA teams crave: an outside shot and heart. Yeah, size is nice, but if Harrison goes through that same run Moe would NEXT year, drops 18-20 pts. per game and shoots 45 percent from outside the arc, he'll most definitely be late first round material. All depends on how many underclassmen go Pro this year. When he's on fire from outside, he doesn't miss, and he always shoots.

If we get Sampson or Gathers it will be hard to double team him.
