RIP Lee Green

Condolences to his family and loved ones.

I remember him as a good defensive player. Much too young.

A terribly sad loss for his family, friends and all St John's fans. It's a chilling reminder that you don't need to be sick when you fatally contract the disease. Stay safe!

It was my understanding that nearly every fatality had some sort of underlying condition which worsened the immunological response to the virus. Hardly matters, though, to be certain. A fairly young man lost his life. The overall fatalities, which is skewed by the lack of diagnosis of the virus, is closer to 5% of diagnosed cases right now.

So sorry to hear this. Lee was a good guy.

Anyone else hear that David Cain is in the ICU with the virus as well? Don't know if I should believe it (hope it is just a rumor).

God I hope that is a rumor.

David Cain is not in the hospital. He is doing very well. Someone may have gotten him confused with David Edwards who was in the same high school class as Cain, then went on to play at Georgetown and Texas A&M.

And terrifying.

The one uplifting thing: that some of those guys from that great 92-93 team (and most surprising SJU of all time) are still very tight.
