RIP Bruno Sammartino

Spent many a thursday night watching Wrestling from the capital Arena in Wash. DC on channel 5.. Bruno and many other wrestlers were presented by Vince mc Mahon sr . good memories .

The funniest pro wrestling fact of all time is that George the Animal Steele was a high school teacher during his wrestling career.

For those of us that grew up loving Wrestling you've got to watch the Andre the Giant documentary on HBO.

The Thurs night matches were the best. I think the announcer was Ray Morgan.
The bad guy "managers" were priceless; throwing pepper into the eyes of the good guys or hitting them over the head with a secreted "metal object." Not sure of the names, maybe Bobby Davis, Red Berry and, of course, Captain Lou.
