Could see the BE games that the Garden can’t hold. But if Rick’s promise of all BE games in 24 holds true that could be short lived
Agree, Rick views MSG as his weapon, and I think he will revive that. He was plastered all over MSG this weekend on a big weekend for the knicks. He’s playing up his NBA gravitas and that can only help us.
And Maher complaining about the heat at CA and beer lines at MSG.

Or maybe OOC games when the day comes that all BE games are at the Garden!

Moose, UBS is very close to campus, near the Nassau/Queens fan base.
Also crime is up outside in and around MSG the last few years . Trust me there is a major quality of life issues I have experienced first hand taking my children to games and other events in and around Penn Station.
Furthermore,at MSG we are third maybe 4th or 5th choice in the pecking order. At USB we are 2nd or 3rd choice.
I would like a split between MSG amd UBS and move all games out of Alumni Hall going forward if possible. Plus having games at UBS gives us potential leverage with MSG in the future.

I'd like to see the Johnnies play one good OOC game each year at UBS. Great arena, and very accessible for the Queens and LI fan bases. I went to the Kansas game there and enjoyed it (except for the result on the court, of course).
I am good with one game a year at UBS, for all of the reasons you mentioned.
But if Pitino is pushing for all BE games and the big out of conference games at the Garden, it doesn’t leave a lot of room for top teams.
Unless of course, they create something like a “UBS Festival” and do it that way.
Would like to see our improved OOC games moved out of CA to UBS and Barclays. Double-headers with Hofstra, Iona and other locals would be good.
The beer lines were not as bad as the bathroom lines yesterday…And Maher complaining about the heat at CA and beer lines at MSG.
Maher never complains about bathroom lines...............I'll leave the rest to our more clever posters.
