The school was thinking about it but hanging them up there with the heat and humidity they were worried about a mold problem on them

I never heard that excuse since they still hang over 25 other championship banners in Carnesecca Arena For hoops and volleyball and those Legacy banners. And they never had any kind of mold problems on them. Including two that have hung since 1981 to honor our two SJU athletes that passed away in their senior seasons.

Seiden, Zawoluk, Boykoff, Levane, Gotkin, Schaeffer Alagia, B.McIntyre, Paultz, Hatten and others too numerous to mention who have contributed to the glorious history of SJU basketball history.
