Restaurant reviews

If you go don't forget the Mexican food. I especially like a little Mexican bakery in round rock when i visit clients there, Jurez Bakery just off 35. Tastes like mom made it and for $20 2 people will not want to eat till the next day. A good break from the bbq :)

When I come back to NY I love to go to beccos. Awesome Pasta at a price Fix. If they have the gnocci they are to die for. As far as BBQ just go to texas. Start at Lockhart then into Austin for

Lastly head to and just enjoy the experience. We can talk about KC and Memphis another thread :)
Austin has some of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at.. as well as some of the best food trucks. Easy 10 pd weight gain trip.

Been a while since I visited Austin but was stationed in Texas and remember the incredibly hot summers. Would drive to Austin every weekend to see bands at the old Armadillo World Headquarters and Threadgills on North Lamar. Went the County Line for BBQ last there and it was great. A friend who travels there regularly goes there every trip and later for drinks at the Oasis to view the sunset over Lake Travis. A great city in every way and a definite recruiting advantage given the weather, the liberal atmosphere and beautiful girls. ;)
