We can beat Creighton twice without Harrison playing well if we limit their 3s and push the ball. They don't have a single player on that team that could stay in front of Dom on a fast break. If Creighton controls the tempo it'll be a struggle.
The problem is, for the last four years when we get stuck in a slow paced game our halfcourt offense is usually DLo doing something. So we have to force turnovers and push the pace, it was the key to winning last night.

really dont like the Creighton matchup or the providence game. Winning in Butlers building will be a tall order too....
Considering we were just nearly beaten at home by a team with a lot less talent than us, i really dont foresee 11-7 or even 9-9.
Depaul = win
at Butler = loss
PC = loss
Creighton twice = split
GTown twice = 2 losses
Xavier twice = split at best
at Nova = loss
Seton hall = win
at Marquette = loss
that would put us at 6-12
before everyone jumps on me for saying PC will beat us when we beat them up there....they beat us twice at home last year and we won there last year.
Creighton is due for a win and we get them away next week....winnable game for them.
I gave us the edge against Seton Hall and X at home, but are those games definite W's.
Marquette away - we barely won last night....can be another Steve Lavin special.
and the idea of us even competing against Georgetown or Villanova is laughable to me at this stage in the season the way things have broken.

funny...im in first in the redmen.com pickem....and i hope Lavin does prove me wrong and this team goes on to achieve great success but based on what we have seen are we really gonna think this is magically gonna turn around?

I'll say if Harrison returns to December form and Rysheed keeps playing well we'll finish 11-7 in the BE....Harrison continues to struggle....9-9 at best

Then I guess the seniors won't go out with a bang and make the ncaa tournament. If they want it bad enough then some how, some way, they just have to do it.

I believe both Xavier games will be close, as well as the Seton Hall one. Ultimatly, however, Nova is the only team I can see sweeping us. With Harrison getting better and everyone playing smart, I really think good things can happen.

Have got to go 4-2 in next six. That's 17-8 (6-6) with 6 games left to get to 20 wins and .500 in the league. With plenty of chances at big wins (@ nova, @ gtown, G town, xavier, seton hall). But it all starts with Creighton this Wednesday, and that scares the hell out of me.
