Remaining Games-Which will we win?
Our record last season was 7-11 in the BE, 14-19 overall. We are currently 3-11, 14-13.

1st Game
W 86-78 2/21 At Marquette (6-8 15-11)
L 75-70 2/24 MSG Seton Hall (7-7 18-9)
L 70-45 2/28 Butler (9-7 19-10)
L 94-72 3/3 At Providence (8-6 17-10)

Finish the regular season two and two,win the 7vs 10 or 8 vs 9 big east game and lose to Xav or Vill in the second big east game would probably put them on the NIT bubble. The record 17-16 would be underwhelming but the strength of schedule ( five games vs what could be two number one seeds Xav and Vill) might get them in.
Win that big east matchup vs Xav or Vill would probably clinch a bid.

You guys are probably right, but the way we’ve played the past 5 games (4-1), I think we’ll do better than 2-2. Don’t see why we can’t run the table and go 4-0. Know it won’t be easy, but we can do it. Hoping for 3-1 at worst and 2-1 in the BET. So 20-14 or 19-15.
Let’s go Johnnies.

SHU @ MSG? F that, we're taking that one.
Owens hears how much Delgado will eat him up everyday, so by Saturday morning he's a freaking beast, no talking, eyes wide, just thinking about playing Delgado already. Ponds go for 35pnts

I was hoping for 4 of final 6 before we beat Nova & Duke. Was counting on our wins against Marquette at home and DePaul on the road as 2 of those 4 wins. So to be consistent with prior hopes/expectations, I will say 2-2, but do not think 3-1 would be a big surprise at this point. Butler looked awfully tough last night; however announcer pointed out how much tougher they play at home. Same guy also was talking about how tough BE is as exemplified by how well the teams towards the bottom like Gtwon and SJU are playing.
Let's go Johnnies!

Just had one of my Asian mystic tea leaves ‘epiphany’ thing...3-0, then lose to Providence away, but go 2-1 at least in BET.
Let’s go Johnnies.

You are such a pessimist. ;)

That would put us squarely on the bubble.

The circle takes the square and ipso facto we're in! :)

The problem is if we finish as an 8 or a 9 seed if we win the first game we have to come back right away and play that 12 noon game Thursday.

If we could move up to 7th that would be the best option and that would probably require us winning out Georgetwon and Marquette not winning two more games each.

I'm watching Seton Hall-Providence on YES right now, we can beat them both. Our defense will put us over the top with Seton Hall, and we will beat Providence up and down the court. Mark it down, you heard it here first! ;) B) B)

Game was just suspended with 13 minutes left due to unsafe floor conditions. Condensation from the ice due to record warm temperatures. No word yet on when they will finish the game, but it won't be tonight.

Absolutely the right call by the officials and everyone involved. Good on them for making the decision.
