That aside , for those unable to attend , it might be nice for the rest of us to know the screen names of those attending. Could they be identified ? While there is no substitute for in Person gatherings to get to know people , many of us are far away and could not attend , identifying those present at a very nice get together , would be great .

Too bad , Rick or a staff Member wasn’t able to attend . Perhaps your next one , with a lead time might get someone to attend . After all , many of you have Season Tickets, or donate to the University and that could spur things .


Certainly looks like eveyone had a nice time . Any speculation on yet unnamed recruits ? We are all awaiting more new additions .

Many , many of us are old . That’s not enough of a clue . I’m 76 . So , a fan is a fan regardless .

Those of the Boomer generation , at least saw the glory days of St John’s BB. Lapchick , Louie ,notably . Even Fran and Jarvis , Lavin , Mullin had a team or 2 that was ok.

Others of the younger generation , haven’t seen success as we did . But , it can be done again . Just how quickly will be the question .

Until it’s answered .

You do not know the half of it . When a Grandpa has to seek the advice of grandchildren to get current on such matters , it’s eye opening .

But , are we any different than our parents and grandparents ? I doubt it .

I recall my Grandparents saying they were going to stick to Radio and not need to get 1 of those “ new TV’s.” Of course , they had one of those floor model Radios that were common place back in the 40’s and 50’s .

They did , eventually come around though . But , drew the line on getting a Color TV .

My parents ask for my kids help with electronics often. It is the one time they give back for all of the times you spoil them.

Cigar Guy, TommyO, Beast of East , Eric Ala Jeremy Renner, Montewood behind him , Panther , Mrs Fan Since 65 , Fan since 65 , Mrs SJC88 , Mr Met SJC88 ,Me , johnny4life , Idraft to get left in Red Shirt , I think that’s Mean Genes back of head , Vegasman and NYSJ

SJU85 and I were talking and we didn’t even realize they were taking the picture yet.
