Radio?

Not sure if missed this, but why are we not on a radio station for the second year in a row? Rutgers is on 660 and 880 and Seton Hall is on 970. Is this another example of the school being cheap? Much more difficult to use the App when driving. Anyone have the rationale on this?

I asked the school but nothin but radio silence so far

It has been a disappointment not to be able to listen to Mink and BT pre and post game in the car. Stripping away years of history and tradition for the gameday experience. This has to be addressed.

I have no idea why we aren’t on radio (I can’t remember the last time we were on a real radio station but remember I use to leave games in Queens and listen to the post game stuff but it has been a long time) but I am sure Rutgers deal is tied in with football which is also on the radio. The Hall is a different story.

Yes. Sju was on 660 then it went to 570 am and 970. Both tough reception stations
Now they cannot find an am station to use

I'm 47. Loved listening to many games when I was a kid into my teens.

Other than select talk radio, radio is going the way of the dinosaur. Ask just about anyone under 25. I have a daughter who is 19. None of her friends ever listen to radio unless they are in car with parents driving who don't have Satellite..even that is outdated. They stream their own songs or podcasts in car.

The options Knight listed should be sufficient. I'm sure no more than a handful of people would go out of their way to listen to the games

The world is going to hell.

20 years of mediocrity have their consequences.

We're a long way from the late 80s WFAN promo as "Home of the Mets, Knicks, Rangers and St John's."

And I still miss Gary Cohen and Ed Coleman.
Was it really that long ago? “Home of ….on wfan
Can’t be

Also, redstormsports.com archives the radio broadcasts. They're usually available about 1 hour following the game's conclusion (give or take).

Fox sports also archives their game broadcasts.

I like to watch. ;)

Loved Deuces Post Games. Explaining "Freelance Offense"

Also, kids don't know what radio is anymore. It's gone by the wayside like the walkman...
