Greg you can always record it
I'm in temporary quarters before my move to Florida in 60 days and I'm getting free cable from the landlord which precludes me from that option. Also, if it becomes the debacle that I fear it may, if I had that option I'm sure I would delete it before subjecting myself to that kind of self inflicted flagellation./media/kunena/emoticons/silly.png
Thanks anyway.

If SJU beats Xavier I believe they play D’Paul in BE T opener. Suspect the defensive game play would have to be “tweaked” a tad :)

We're home, we haven't lost more than 2 straight all year (we've lost 2 straight too often, but never more than that), Xavier is struggling (I'd say they're loving this matchup, but they close with Georgetown at home Saturday, so they're probably REALLY loving that), and we've never lost on bobblehead night (and we've played some good teams on those nights).

Obviously, the last part does not factor into the line, but everything else is probably what they're going by.

If tomorrow night's game is a debacle (which I don't expect it to be), I'll really start to worry...
I hope not as well but what I've witnessed lately is telling me that this team is becoming an entity in disarray. I hope and pray that CMA gets this under control and pulls this team together for an overwhelming victory over the X men. That said, I love this program and want it to succeed beyond our wildest dreams and will never give up the love that I have for this team and our program.

I said this elsewhere, but we're probably better off losing this game, and facing Butler in the 8/9.  Not a guaranteed win, obviously, but I think we matchup better.  Then, after that would be Providence, who doesn't play after tonight, so they might be rusty, and the two games against them were close this year (10 point game at the Dunk, but it was closer then that for most of the way).

I think we can beat DePaul in a 7/10, but it's not a great matchup, and until the last few minutes of the second game, Villanova (who would be next) pretty much had their way with us in both meetings this year.

Still, I can't root for the team to lose.  I just don't know any other way.

Do we care that Marquette game won't be made up?  Would it mean anything standings wise?  Yes I'm that bored.

Just wanting an official cancelation si I can try to get my StubHub credit/refund. Ticket office now told me conf may be waiting until very end of season to announce but they didn't know exact reason why.

Probably to see if Marquette needs another win to make the tournament. Couple of weeks ago we may also have been being given that consideration.

I want no part of Depaul.  They have scorers, length etc.  They are a better team then we are.

Probably right. The 8/9 would give us a 2nd round game against Providence albeit on that 15 hour turnaround whereas the 7/10 would put us up against Nova. We have a chance against PC, not against Nova.

I think I can force myself to get excited Wednesday morning of the BET.  Until then, these games are meaningless.  Let Pinzon, Stanley and Niwye get 30 minutes a game and get them ready for next year.

and prepare them for whatever team they're playing on next year

And their coach is excellent, amirite?  /media/kunena/emoticons/silly.png

Anybody know Soriano's status for tonight?  He's a crucial piece vs X

Soriano is needed vs. X. Hoping he clears.

Is Posh going to start??, what's up with not starting our heart and soul.

************************************************************

I always root for them to win, even if losing potentially could end us up with a better BET matchup. Just can't root for a "L"!

Champ hopefully wills himself to a big night, and us to a victory in likely his last game at CA.

Certaintly would be nice to have Soriano tonight, but let's not make him out to be more then what he is.  Besides, since we're going nowhere this season, it'll be good to see what Nyiwe and Stanley can give us playing more minutes. Next season sorta starts now.

If Soriano is coming back next year why do we need to see Nyiwe and Stanley play more minutes?

Pretty simple; because  if we don't pick up any other big man(men) of consequence, and since we know more or less what we're gonna get from Soriano, may as well get Stanley and Nyiwe more minutes for experience and to see how they fare. Same reason to try and give Pinzon more minutes, especially over Smith and Coburn.

Monte agree,I was never high on Soriano.I said previously, we need a dominate big and 2 very good 3 pt shooters
Do not think we miss Soriano not in the game. We have 6-8 player with more speed to off set. Think he would be a good back up center
Coach better recruit more 4* players.we can not move forward with 3* players that can’t shoot and need 2 yrs to develop
Even our staff needs to improve along with coaches gamee

He was playing better and so were we. Then he gets hurt and we immediately lose 2 in a row in very winnable games. I’d say he’s shown we need him.
