Great win last night guys! Keep it going against X this week!

Unfortunately, I’ll be out of town. If any one wants my two tickets, please pm me with your e-mail address and I’ll transfer the tickets through my My Johnnies account. So wish I could be there!

Xavier has a big starting team, especially if both Hankins and Jones play together. Have to be careful with our switching outside. Have to bang the boards. Haven't been impressed this year with Goodin's play. Their new coach has done a good job, much improved recently.

Tuned into this nova-X game and Tyrique Jones literally looks like a DeMarcus Cousins clone. I am terrified

Luckily he doesn’t play like one

Jones is kind of inconsistent. Had 19 and 12 when they beat PC last game, other games he gets in foul trouble and disappears. I could see him giving us trouble though if we're not careful.

we need to be ready, i believe we wont look ahead of them after a 4 game winning streak! Nova might be coming back to reality but not good for the conference this year

Alright Jones just had one of the manliest offensive boards and putbacks ive ever seen and im really nervous for thursday

Just play our bench plenty like the last game, and shoot like we are capable...

We will be facing a team with a high degree of confidence, especially after what they're doing to Nova right now. But, we are just as confident and it's on our court. It'll be a tough game, but we win this one in a close one.

we better attack Jones and get him in foul trouble. That dunk he just had to put it away was frightening. X is a horrible matchup for us. But the 3 pt shot is the great equalizer and we seem to make them at CA

It starts, as always, with us making shots. 3's especially, like you said, but just shots in general.

That allows us to set up the pressure defense, and Xavier's guards can be shaky handling the ball. That's where we thrive.

Won't be an easy game (there are none in this league), but Xavier is not as good as they looked in the second half today (I hate to say it, but I think Villanova kind of gave up with about 7 minutes to go). No team is as good as they look when at their best, or as bad as they look when at their worst.

Seton Hall is not as big, or as physical, as Xavier is. The bench was great last night, but they had some advantages (or at least, they did not have big disadvantages physically).

Might be worth giving these guys a try in the first half on Thursday, but if it does not work, then we will have to rely on the regular cast of characters (which is always the case, anyway.

Xaiver's been a funny team this year. Started BE season 4-2, lost 6 in a row and have now won 4 in a row. They are playing well now and are a tough matchup for us from a size perspective. We really need to win Thursday's game because they will be awfully tough for us to beat at Xavier. I think we have a much better chance of winning at Depaul.

It would be in Xavier's best interests to go 1980s Detriot Pistons on us. We don't do well against that type of play (I think some coaches of capable teams have shied away from doing that against us, to our benefit). The only teams that have done that to us are Providence and Depaul, and those were probably our three worst performances of the season.

The key to every good start we had was getting Clark going early. He tends to get the most open looks from 3 of anyone we have, as some bigs don't have the quickness or desire to chase him to the 3 point line.

For all intents and purposes, Thursday is "Senior Night" for Shamorie. Last home game at Carnesecca Arena, look for him to come out firing on all cylinders
