Let's see that famous MA press on this kid. Would make up for all those big man swings and misses or more accurately those times we didn't even take the bat off our shoulders.

Going to try to attend the first St. John's game of the year in honor of my father who passed away last week. Even while taking care of him in home hospice he and I watched every game together in his room. One of his joys in his 95 years was watching the redmen with me. I'm hoping he brings us luck and we beat X in a tight game.

God bless you and your Dad 72. My mom died when I was very young so always had a special relationship with my Dad, who passed many years ago at 84. Fortunately the good memories never go away. He'll be with you tomorrow night watching your Johnnies at MSG.

Very sorry for your loss 72. Hopefully Having those memories will ease the pain a bit

Sorry to hear about your Dad,I lost mine yrs ago hurt never leaves.just remember the good times have to believe we will all see our family again

Some silver linings about this match-up:

When we played them in January, we lost by 8 points despite shooting.....wait for it..... 1 of 16 (6%) from the 3pt arch. Xavier is also not a good shooting team. So, if we bring our "A" game on defense and knock down some shots, we could be in this game.

Regarding Beast Jones (Tyrique), he is a 59% free throw shooter. When possible, let's make him earn his points from the line.

The good news is that Steere can use his 5 fouls against him. Oh no, wait. Never mind.....

That's good news.
The Johnnies have a reasonable chance of winning. I hope they rise to the occasion.

They'll win, if they continue playing like they did against Providence.
