I like Cragg but I do find it kind of strange how dramatically our ticket strategy has changed. Last year some were saying that we gave out a lot of tickets for free- or at least sold for extremely cheap. This year we have the exact opposite model. Maybe last year's plan simply didn't work financially despite the excellent attendance numbers.

Any idea how the new ticket prices compare with Big East teams like Seton Hall, Georgetown and Providence?

I'll go with half that (3.5).[/quote]

Nailed it, +3.5. :)

Definitely a very manageable line. We have somewhere around 40% odds of winning. Not bad at all.

Good job. I have to say I am a little surprised. Seems low to me but hopefully we can win it straight up. Will be attending the game with someone who grew up in West Virginia and now resides in the NY area so it should be fun.

Hope we all play well and grab rebounds
But it means we have a 60% chance of losing
Let’s go out play are and steal one

The money is going against us, opening line was 2.5, now it's 3.5.
BetMGM has it up to 4

I just some how messed up a long post and i'm not in the mood to do it all over again.
Here's the short version:

I dont think Julian is shooting enough, in the last 5 he's avg 13.2 per, but that's only on 10 shots per (25/50). I'd like for him to shoot say 14 times today, and maybe get 17/6or7 vs. a tough wvu team in his msg debut.
I know with Heron and LJ that now is not his time, but for just this one game, if he's confident that he can hit his shots then why take a backseat to anyone?

I actually think his shots are right on line for what they should be. He is shooting within the flow of the game and not forcing anything, taking good shots. At this stage, he's not a guy that is going to create many shots on his own.

Im
Trying to be realistic - not expecting a W - but hope for a nice solid effort and a little more quality experience under our collective belts.
I noticed this comment on a news/sports site:

Last Meeting: St. John’s blasted West Virginia behind Moe Harkless in a Big East conference matchup, 78-62. Current Cincinnati Reds reliever Amir Garrett added 18.

Will be interesting to see how some of our younger players react playing on the big stage of MSG. You don’t think it’s different until you step onto a big time arena. Depth perception and the like feel different vs the “gym” that is Carnesseca Arena.

Hopefully we get a 40 minute effort. I respect their coach and I expect their players will reflect his attitude. Don’t know about the result but today they will need to elevate their game. A real challenge is good and seeing how far you have come and need to go is a good thing.
