I wonder if a sold out crowd give the Johnnies a little extra today. It would be nice to see the team play an entire game. Despite the record our team has not yet put it all together. I do wish it was against a bigger opponent but nothing we can do about it now. Hopefully, they do what they should do against a lesser team and start to build momentum and confidence as we head toward the tougher conference schedule.

It’s when we get into confr that% goes way down. I like that we will be 10-0 but we can not think we played great. We played cupcakes Let’s hoped we learned some D
,ball distribution and set plays. Did we have any back door outside of the ones against us? We rank over 200 in defending the 3 if that does improve we are in trouble would hope Keith is back by our 1st game it will help but then again he will need time getting into our offense Wish Simon had a consistent up shot not saying he has not played well but next level he will have to have That ability.He should continue playing towards his strength ,driving and rebounding but needs then to get better in foul shooting it’s fun watching this team ,if they play as a team and keep the ball moving until a good shot presents itself we can cause some chaos

Whether you kill OOC competition, shoot 60% or 30%, matters little when the conference season begins. We are undefeated and all that matters once the conference season starts is can we win more than half of our games and if we do not, were we ready to play our best. The only result that really matters so far are W's. Anything else is speculative. Ponds can go off for bv 35 and you can question whether he would do that against a better team. Clark could grab 3 rebounds against a small team but doesn't mean he won't grab 8 in a win vs. A ranked team. Just enjoy what's in front if us. We will find out soon enough

I think it behooves one of the mods to permanently post a sticky regarding redmen.com code of conduct. Also, one of the mods, perhaps OhioFan, had once posted conditions for demotion, e.g., receiving warnings and ramifications including temporary demotion for 30 days, etc. It is not the purview of readers or fans to delineate the rules in any particular poster's comments unless you are a rule enforcement officer. If you didn't like Mike Zaun's comments you could have just ignored them. Young Zaun is as big, if not bigger fan, than some here that willed him to the lesser forum. There is no defense of saying his comnents were long or tedious if you were in fact reading them. That some responded to them who also begged them to be ignored meant those "fans" were trying to make things personal and about Mike's position on a subject rather than either ignoring or pushing for punishment. Let's not go back in time when a demented Mod and his idiot son tried to control everyone's opinion or be publicly harassed with the pictures of member's children, wives, or cut n pasted caricatures. And as our 2 North Carolina friends just showed the other day again thanks to Paul and all the time he has put in personally and financially it's a site made up of people that pretty much would like each other personally once they met. Life is too short to let small stuff like how a person posts unless it's really egregious bother someone enough to complain to the mods. Most of us here are adults and heck when Jack Williams was 16 he was acting more of an adult than a lot of us. If you dont care for a particular posting style by a person just skip the post. Or better yet make an effort to meet the person at or after a game. I can pretty much guarantee your perception will change of the person 99% of the time and you will get along
